Greenwood is a safe harbor in Brooklyn for those who have a desire to stop drinking. Our whales have hung on these walls for over a half century of daily meetings where we welcome newcomers and visitors. We have deep roots in our diverse neighborhood and the program of Alcoholics Anonymous.
Greenwood Anniversary & Halloween Party: Oct. 26
Don't miss Greenwood Group's 55th Anniversary & Halloween Party! There'll be meetings, music, food, fellowship, face painting, and even fortune telling. Plus: a costume contest (group and individual), 50/50 raffle, sobriety countdown, and the Greenwood song.
We'll kick off the celebration at 4:30pm with an open meeting, followed by dinner starting at 6pm and dancing from 7pm–10pm. Please note: This party will be held at a different location than previous years. The location is 656 5th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11215.
For more details, see the flyer below. All are welcome, so please share with any meetings you go to! This is one monster mash you won't want to miss.
